Water Line Racing (WLR) is a North American West Coast elite track racing program aiming to bridge the gap between local clubs and national federations. We like to think we’re the best in the West. WLR supports a broad range of riders, from the top level of the sport chasing UCI points, to developing and coaching new riders in the sport to reach their full potential. More than anything else, we love racing, and participate in any and all of it. He found cycling as a commuter in college, teaching himself basic mechanic skills to build a simple fixie. This led to racing alley cats and fixed gear city crits. After College he was blessed with the opportunity to move to San Diego for new opportunities and work where he finally had access to a velodrome. After a year training with the USA Cycling Search for Speed program you can find Elliot training and racing in LA. Tyler first started riding the track back in 2016 but it wasn’t until 2019 he started racing road, and finally made his way to racing track in 2021. Making the transition over to track sprinting, Tyler is looking forward to seeing what he can contribute to WLR’s team sprint squad. Committing to a track focus in 2023 showed a different type of form. The season overall winner at Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome in 2023 and winning his first individual medal at the US National Championships in 2023 proved he could race at the sharp end of big track events. A relocation to Denmark for much of 2024 resulted in a very different racing season only lining up at two events before the 2024 US National Championships. Taking 2025 to reset, 2026 is looking to be a year to build back to form targeting some masters events.
